As an ex primary school teacher and a student counsellor, it is no surprise that I have a determination to help people in any way possible, which is why those that know me well, are not surprised by my passion for my professional role within the church; which is to provide young families, as well as individuals, with warmth and love, and to offer them pastoral care and support.

I am delighted to be in the unique position of running various groups for families in South Molton, inclusive of: Stay and Play Parent, Baby and Toddler groups; known as Teddy Bears family groups, an after-school club; known as Physical Fun, family emotional health and well-being short courses; known as Babies Matter and Kids Matter, and a visual communication short course; known as SignHear.

I feel immensely privileged to offer Sunday Club to families, whereby through games, stories and crafts, I provide focused activities for all that attend to consider and learn about God.

Important to me is that throughout my endeavours to support families living in South Molton and the surrounding villages, I can demonstrate that we ‘as a church community’ are inclusive of ethnic diversity; which is something that has become increasingly evident over time with more families joining our groups and our church congregation from different cultures.

I love my professional role at the Methodist Church as a Children and Young Families Support Worker!
